This is such a crock of shit.

cook eight to ten hours?

That seems like a pointless waste of time.

What meal? There are plenty of home-made meals that I know of that require that time.

Hence why I said it was a "crock" of shit.

Subtle pun. Because it requires a crock pot.

DD: Crock Pot Classics meatballs + noodles.

If it comes out nice it might be worth the wait. As it is I think I'm going to nuke some hot pockets or something for brunch.

Sounds like something that you put in a crock pot and let it slow-cook.

No, really. :p

But of course... it all depends on what you were trying to cook.

Edit: damn, sniped.

Well it's fine with meals that just need to stay for a few hours, since in that case, you can place them somewhere and forget about it.

You can't really do that with meal that is cooking, though.

After 8 hours, add 1 cup milk and noodles. Stir, cook 25 minutes on HIGH.

... We have no milk.

I've learned to always check for milk before beginning. Mac and cheese without milk tastes nasty.

Man, Mac & Cheese is good.

Especially white cheddar with a little bit of extra milk.

I fully agree with Lain's statement. Mmmmm~ Shells and cheese is good too. Annie's Shells & White Cheddar is mind-bogglingly amazing for being powder.

...

As for this, it's actually not bad, despite having mushrooms (and apparently anchovies) in it. And I made it. What.

Crock pot meals are perfect when you want a hot meal ready for you when you get home from work/school/errands/whatever. Just throw a bunch of crap in before you leave, and when you get home, instant tasty slow cooked dinner! Of course I'm practically a zombie in the morning, so even that is too much work for me. Hot Pockets to the rescue!

Anyway, hope it came out alright. There's a lot to be done with crock pots.
