You know, they should make the final form of the Grass starter Grass/Electric or something, because that type combination would be absolutely cool =D

I'm also going to bet that the Water starter will evolve into a Water/Ice, and the Fire starter... well, probably not Fire/Fighting again... maybe a Fire/Dark? =P

The grass starter should absolutely be grass/dark.

Just look at it, I'm nicknaming it :smugzard: now.

As for fire P-Chan... Maybe ground? It would be killed by some water starter though... Oh wait.

Hmm... actually, having the fire be fire/psychic and the water water/fighting might make sense.

All the fanart is making me really like these starters. They're completely different from past starters in both style and tropes (Quadruped grass is no longer! Treeko doesn't count...) and it's a change I'm willing to get used to and welcome. And I usually hate change!

I would bet it's fire ground on that thing. The grass could be quite new in how it evolves... or they will just be lame and make it poison. The water one I bet will turn into ice... I mean, just look at the colors. :/

People are thinking Grass/Psychic, Grass/Dark, Grass/Ghost based on the smugness. I could very well see Grass/Dark being the case if he's supposed to be a grass snake (which don't have to be poisonous.)

Now that I think about it... he does look quite a bit like a lizard... So I would not rule out thunder being added to him... But yeah, the smugness really suggest one of those types.

But as it is a lizard it could also very well be *gasps* grass/water, and that would be cool.

I'm not a big fan of the fire and water starter this time around. But what do I know, the water starter last time was uber cute but evolved into the ugliest of them all. :/
