Oh yeah I am on a total nostalgia trip right now!

So I started watching Linkara's Reviews of the show, which are an in depth analysis of each season, and they have completely re-woken the power rangers obsession I had as a kid! I'm watching all of the old episodes again in order, and if I can keep my sanity, I might even watch all of the later seasons too. I'm really re-thinking this show as a whole now. As a kid, I quit watching sometime after the first movie because I didn't like all of the changes they were making to the cast. I didn't even touch the show once it started "updating" the rangers each season with names like Turbo, Zeo, Wild Force, Lost Galaxy ect, and I didn't even realize that these were the same show. I thought they were all knockoff series because in my mind, nothing could EVER top the original Mighty Morphing Power Rangers.

But now, after watching these reviews and doing some research, not only did I discover that all of these seasons tie in to some degree, but I also discovered that many of these seasons actually hold their own pretty well and might even be worth a watch. They still can never beat the original, but I can appreciate them as a whole now, and I gotta tell you, getting back into this show again was the last thing I ever expected, but I'm loving every minute of it! I'm even watching what I can find of the original sentai footage. Too bad that so few have been English subbed though.

Anyway, did any of you guys grow up with the Power Rangers? Did any of you watch it beyond the Mighty Morphing era? Can you still watch it today or is the cheese factor just way too much? Share your thoughts.

RPM owns. It has comedy, action, and more. RPM even makes fun of itself!

RPM is pretty damn good

RPM has this one episode I can not find where one of the rangers got his power. And during the transformation animation, he is all "WOAH, WHAT!?", then later as he is done, he turns around going "WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS UP WITH THAT EXPLOSION!?"

RPM also has stuff in it that is worth the watch. Sure, we are all adults so it can be cheesy at times; it makes up for it for it's comedy.

Cool! I have a long way to go before I get to RPM though, but that does look funny. I just hit the treasure trove on Bitorrent though. I'm already downloading all seasons, but I also found over a gig of RAW SABAN MUSIC used throughout the series' incarnations! That means uncut Lord Zed theme, as well as megazord battle music, and that's just to start! I also found all 3 season of VR Troopers! I didn't think I would ever see that show again! I switched to watching it as a kid when Mighty Morphing started switching cast members out. I have a feeling I am going to be busy for a while!

I was the biggest Power Rangers nut when I was a kid. I was even the Green Ranger for halloween when I was 8! I'll have to have my mom scan the picture so I can post it. Thank you for posting this, I will have to watch them. I would love to have them on DVD so I could put all the episodes on my iPod touch.
