Misuse of Javascript, setting background colours but not text colours, requiring registration for no good reason, and having no padding at all on the content so it gets shoved right up against the left edge also seem to be new majority trends.

This is how I feel.

Someone on board2 was pissed because of my layout and that they have 800x600

I kinda laughed. My layout works fine in 1024x768 and on my shrunken-windowed firefox AND Opera.

If you don't have your window bigger than 800 pixels wide, something is wrong.

Not exactly hard to do when your content is one page with six links on it.

I don't complain about squished-up layouts at this size (which, again, is above 800px wide), heck even mine doesn't work that well (been meaning to change it but meh). When your content is scrolled off the screen and inaccessible, that's something else.
