They can also reduce errors made by surgeons by improving hand-eye coordination.

Agreed, games like Tetris and sudoku have actually improved my brain somewhat, since they actually make you think (like where to place blocks so you can get a Tetris, or what number fits in what square, etc.) =)

Well, tell me if GTA is educational

Well, in my opinion, Obama's right like he's wrong: even though i agree on the fact videogames can distract all of us he should let us using videogames. Probably the Xbox for the games it is getting (never seen a colorful and cool game exclusively for Xbox, if not Banjo Nuts and Bolts). I don't own an Xbox and i don't know.

Also, worst president? Come in Italy and let's say who's the worst.

To be fair, some games are educational while others are not. But the main deal with video games, just like the movies and the music, is to have fun.

And honestly, I'm sick of people using GTA as an example. First of all, there are MUCH worse games then GTA if you want to see blood/tits/whatever. And, it is a sandbox game, so it really is what you make out of it. In fact, I would say it's quite a realistic one too! :/

Also, this is not new, many country leaders enjoy pissing on the video game industry for some reason. :/

Oh damn, yeah, you guys are still stuck with Berlusconi, right? When are there going to be parliament elections in Italy?

I rarely play video games nowadays, anyway. Some games are indeed good for the mind, however.

Video games are games, not math quizzes...mostly.

Have you ever tried playing pokemon competetivly?

Or like, any tactical RPG?

Those tends to go with a lot of math to do. :/

Yes, there is worse, but, again, is GTA educational? Yeah, it's funny, but it can be dangerous for insane people who act like in that.

BTW also Rapelay is not that good... Well there are a lot of diseducational game and, imo, GTA is a good example.
