When I lived with my stepmom, my retarded stepbrother put on a movie at full volume at 2AM. The TV room was right next to my bedroom. Think rock concert volume in your bedroom when you have to work in the morning. His mother could see no problem with this.

I did this for Transformers 2 Nobody was home though, so it didn't matter that I bought it the day it was released at midnight and put in on as soon as I got home. I did the same with Avatar but I didn't have it max volume.
