I have an old HP CRT monitor from 1998... that can go up to 1280x1024, but I use 1152x864 on it instead. =P

This monitor is 1920x1200, but I set it so it scales 4:3 resolutions properly instead of stretching them out... =D

it's my favorite theme,
but loading it requires patching some system file  
hence the whole virtual machine thing

you can get the background here

I installed this today, so it's pretty much the default settings currently. I don't know how much I'll use Linux, I may still use Windows 7 as my main OS, especially with Linux's wireless trouble on this laptop.
