Seriously, while I do love girly stuff, I think of myself as someone who is both a (retro-)gamer and female separately, not a special class of "girl gamer". I'm rather opposed to people making judgements and assumptions based solely on something as (IMO) insignificant as gender.

Pfffft. It sounds like your implying that nintendo can't make good games in the blog. I agree with the fact that the "girl gamer" term is fucking stupid, but honestly, I have more nintendo games then for any other system. Why? Well they are fucking good, that's why!

Even though I do play some more hardcore and competetive titles I still find fun in playing other things too. (Except wii music/fit/party fucking blows hard)

This reminds me of a passage I had to read in the verbal section for a practice mcat. It was about women writers and how declaring yourself to be a women writer as opposed to just being a writer who happens to be female has its own implications. Great stuff!

E- Back in my Pump it Up days. We had a lot of girls play with us. We never looked at them as: "Oh hey, we can bone them. Tobular!" type girls. They were gamers like us. And we had a code of law about this shit too. One guy came up and asked to do a song:

Both parties were guilty too. The girls who did this were asking people to do this. And thought they were famous among the ground for having a vagina. I never cought this on, and neither did the rest of us high tier pumpers.

This shit disgusts me.
