We have parking garages that we can buy where I live. We pay for these spots yet sometimes other people will park in them. Someone got really mad and pushed this car out into the street and wrote on their windshield.

Photobucket

I've had someone park in my spot before, but all I did was write a few notes and stuck them on their car.

Haven't had the same here, mostly because of the locals - not many want to piss people off here.

This guy has an out of state plate but a lot of people who live here will still sometimes park in a spot that isn't there's.

There are three cops outside now.

That should end well.

The ones we have here are marked by apartment number. If you're not smart enough to read numbers, something like that should happen. Of course, around here, it might be worse than that. :/

Thats Parking Rage, as they're not on the road so it can't be called Road Rage... I can understand the frustration of someone taking your spot though. At my work we don't have assigned parking unless you're higher up, but there are 2 parking garages. One with 5 floors, the other with just 2. I used to park on the 2 level one because it was closer to my building at the time. It was basically filled up by 8am and I would be there by about 7:30. Well, the general rule of thumb was "Do not leave work for lunch" because if you did, your spot would be gone. I guess people that weren't able to get a spot there in the morning check after lunch and nab someones spot. Happened just about every time I had to go out for lunch... I even ran down the street to the bank for 10 minutes and came back to find my spot jacked...

Now we're in the other building closer to the 5 story garage and I don't have that problem. If you want the closest spots to the stairs you'd probably get spot jacked, but I just park on the backside and don't have any trouble.

This doesn't usually affect me because I don't drive, but when I'm riding in a car I tend to get pissed off at people who take up more than 1 parking space for no reason other than that they fail at parking.

Yeah. My mom's parking skills have gone way down recently.

Goddammit I want to practice driving from someone who knows how to do it and will actually take me instead of making up reasons not to.

I think the bigger asshole is the person who wrote on that car. Not the person who parked in that spot.

Yeah, and you have no idea how much it pisses the rest of us off when people on motorcycles decide to take up an ENTIRE PARKING SPOT with their one tiny bike. Enjoy your win

I used to get hassled over parking here after I totaled my old car. The apartment here didn't BELIEVE me and refused to issue me a new parking pass, forcing me to park in the elusive visitor park spots abused by semi-permanent guests who don't even live here. That's right, I faced being towed in my own complex which I am paying to live in. They assumed I was lying and was going to give the new pass to a friend or something so they could park there. Yeah, okay. Eventually they finally issued me a "temporary pass" (valid until the end of my lease, whoopdy freaking do) after which I graciously thanked the very drivers threatening to tow my ass. Haven't had a problem since. Nice of the administration to finally do it's job, ey Luigi?

Then maybe places should make parking spots just for bikes. But yea, when looking for a spot and I see a spot half empty near the front, only to drive up and see a bike there. Can't wait to do that when (and if) I get one.

As for my bike, I usually just lock it to any old signpost or whatever. I'll use a bike rack if it's available and convenient. Parking them in car spaces seems rather absurd to me.

By bike, in my last post, I meant anything but a bicycle. Although I should try that one day, just for laughs.

Oh, I get it, you're talking about those things that are filtered to that image of cards

My bike isn't one of those. It's powered by my feet pedalling.

Thats why motorcycles are supposed to park at the back of the stall instead of all the way in. If some idiot is flying in to a spot and doesn't see the it there... boom goes the bike. Even though its the idiots fault, you could have avoided your bike being smashed.

Yeah, it'd be funny to park a bicycle in a car stall, until you come back and find it gone, or thrown into a ditch, or run over.

Nobody here can park. People seem to think the idea is to centre yourself over the lines.

Original pic would be much more amusing if the guy just smashed the window, reached in, put it in neutral, pushed it out of the spot, put it in park again, and parked there.

Although that would be amusing, I think that someone would probably notice someone smashing a window. That is why you use glass cutters

Pushing a parked car out of its stall and spraypainting it isn't exactly subtle either...

Well, I guess my point was that it doesn't make a really loud noise. Also depends on what time of day it was...

Legally, you can. The person riding that bike pays for his taxes just like you do. And you can be the biggest asshole in the world if you tamper with that bike.

So short version: That's not funny.
