CTRL+ENTER on a submit to thread titles causes an issue with auto-save. Thread title is considered an auto-saved field. Wouldn't mind a fix for this or you can consider all forums on this board taken over by me.

EDIT: Edited preferences and deleted the particular pass save. CTRL+ENTER on thread creation no longer works but password is saved. Some odd bug or something. Not quite sure what's causing this. I don't have this trouble on other sites/forums like this.

EDIT 2: Now have it to where it's CTRL+ENTERing correctly in New Thread titles after saving just the User/Pass in a regular post. Still clueless.

EDIT 3: And now it's gone back to thinking the thread title should be auto-saved. What the @()*!?

Counter: Far faster doing CTRL+ENTER vs. this freaking netbook touchpad. Like I said, this is the only site that has those auto-complete problems for whatever reason.

PMs are also affected by this. I don't know why this board has this issue but it does and I'm pointing it out.

move left hand 3 keys up, tap, enter

in all seriousness it's probably because the new thread page also has a username/password field

Well, even on VGG, for instance, if I'm creating a new thread it has those particular fields that are highlighted in gold and I have no problems making threads there (has User/Pass, escape HTML tags + Don't use layout checks, Autosave, Thread Title and Description for the fields). The thread title, however, is not. On Jul, it is...but it doesn't highlight any of the other fields but those three.

I'll have to send some screenshots up once I get home, but that's the gist of it.
