Some people don't have any hobbies outside of oppression, it seems.

Hmm... That guy who hacked Sarah Palin's email account is going away for 20+ years... I wonder what we could pin Mega Mario with?

We're not public figures for one thing. But if it led to identity theft from a password he swiped, then it could lead to charges.

It was here, although it seems to be down right now. It was followed by this, which loads fine.

Oh i understand, also i'm quite sick of seeing those lamers who don't understand there is something of worse in the world.

I updated the first post somewhat. The update is here for posterity:

In other news, please use caution around any suspicious posts, especially by new members. Mega Mario is apparently planning on being a script kiddie again and I'd prefer that he not succeed, so.

He claims to be using Javascript, so take note and (if possible) disable it selectively for this domain, just to be safe. While I've updated the filters pretty significantly, given how shitty HTML is and the wide variety of ways to inject it, well...

All I can do is shake my head disapprovingly. This is the same person that months ago was begging for another chance, too.

Sad.

Password changed, my old one was greater than eight characters although I was thinking of changing it at some point in the near future anyways.

As far as things like this attack and his constant attempts to rereg go, I don't even try to understand what's going on in Mega Mario's head as nothing that he does makes any sense to me.

Whoa there. The guy is facing a sentence that holds a maximum of 20 years in jail, which he probably won't get.

In passing, I'd like to remind people to use NoScript or an equivalent anti-Javascript plugin/option for this page. The only two things that use it are the Color Chart and Smilies popup, both of which will probably be fixed later anyway to not require it.

I'm working on some actual security fixes, so even if by some metric they do end up stealing the data it won't matter.

I've been meaning to bother you about that. Just link them to the appropriate page, and we can tell the browser to open them in a new window. Links shouldn't have any say in what a browser does with its windows/tabs anyway.

Interesting that someone can be so hard-assed to keep going on with this for months. Good thing I'm not that much of a known user here, then.
Looking at the e-mails though, this guy appears to me as a joke. (In the sense of being a comical figure, not a prank by someone else.)

Speaking of which, I'm not very adept at changing settings, especially, it appears, disabling Java. Is anyone able to assist me with getting Firefox to not use Java?
<-- Lacking expertise here

Java is not Javascript. There's a "Disable Javascript" option in the preferences, but you really should install NoScript instead; it disables on a per-site basis (whitelist) and protects from many other types of attack as well.

I hardly ever really lurk here, let alone post, but all I can say is LOL.
IMO if he does this out of hate he has no life. If he does it for laughs he still has no life but is possibly the most massive troll I've ever known. I'll leave it to you weather thats a good thing or a bad thing.
