Never had the problem cuz I don't use Steam...or if I do it's very infrequently.

Steam will not help me rule this forum.

cue mentioning of the various ... "art" threads and selective and creative use of steam bathing/saunas I've actually only ever had one issue with Steam and that was on my grandparents' computer during the UI update. other than that, no problems whatsoever.

That says something given that I have probably close to a thousand hours of gaming on the thing.
