Finally took care of that last battle...

Haven't quite burned in that amount of time just yet. I'm at 130 hours and haven't done the extras on the side such as second E4, Red. At 142 for Pokedex, though. Got 16 badges 10 days after I got this too but it kinda burned out for me after I lapped everyone up that I talked to in that regard.

Once I get Budew into Roserade, and up Soap to level 50-ish, I'll head over and take on Misty and Brock. Still haven't beaten Surge yet though. >.>

Yea...be sure to throw a lot of stock into Special Attack EVs like I said. Killing those Graveler, Poliwag/whirl and Seaking kinda made it weird in that vein.

Although getting 2200-2700 EXP per battle was awesome. Hopefully you get a halfway decent Roserade out of it - they're good pokes.

May as well go into my line up right now:

L56 Tentacruel
L55 Tyranitar
L55 Machamp
L55 Gengar
L55 Magnezone
L55 Ninetales (Shiny)
L55 Scizor
L52 Alakazam
L47 Pikachu (Light Ball/Flying)

Those are the only ones I've put some major stock in so far. The Ninetales and the Pikachu are the only ones EV trained specifically to my needs. I've got a support Igglybuff I'm training up that I'll use for support with others in Frontier Battles to help them along which I hope to eventually have going soon. Dual screens, Wish, Stealth Rock. High in HP and Defense and will have Light Clay to extend screens from 5 to 8 turns. No attacks but it wouldn't be there for attack purposes anyways. If I don't use Wigglytuff then I might consider using the Ralts I got from Tyty last night for that role.

I'm in Kanto now, just beat Surge. My Torterra OHKO'd his whole team with Earthquake. That was crazy.

The double battle in the gym was awesome because of the pokemon combo I realized. My Mismagius has Levitate. Therefore put Torterra and Mismagius in together and use Earthquake. Powerful damage without hurting my team! Same works with Skarmory but his vs electric hurts.

Lance went down after some difficulty. Nothing like last time though. I was incredibly smug about it too since while I could have taken his last Dragonite down like normal, instead I used Perish Song and didn't attack for three turns. I also used Embargo on him just for the hell of it. So satisfying to see his life just drop to 0.

After not touching hte game in over a week due to the stress of finals, I played for two hours last night. The Safari Zone and the new route leading up to it is awesome. I caught lots of new Pokémon.

I tried training my new replacement Wooper but it's so weak. At level 18, it's slower than a level 5 Unown and died to a level 20 Vulpix's Flamethrower in one hit.

You'll get a lot of neat stuff of the Safari Zone if you take the time to wait around for it.

Unfortunately, even with the stuff I've set, I won't get a Bagon until the end of July with the way the system is. Oh well. Probably easier to trade/get an egg from it anyways.

I'm also never playing Wi-Fi against the world again. People abuse the Ditto glitch too prevalently.

Still trying to evolve this Budew here. It's tougher in Platinum than in HG/SS to evolve pokes by friendship.

Unless I've got a real reason to mess around with it, I doubt I pick Platinum up. I messed around with it a bit in the emu but that was about it.

Only real reason I needed it so far was trade reasons as it was and I don't have a second DSi hanging around to do that. I was lucky enough to fix one for cheap.
