So, I come to find out that I missed a calculus test yesterday, mostly because I haven't gone in the past couple of weeks because all my teacher does is regurgitate the book back at us (time is better spent sleeping, or teaching myself from the book).
After finding this out, sheer panic ensues. Apparently my face was priceless. I know this isn't the end of the world, and that one utterly failed test isn't going to change the course of my life, but it's kinda hard to see that as of right now. What big "oopsies" have you made? I need to put this test in perspective, to stop beating myself up about it, and to move on (so I can study for the final next week). I know eventually I'll look back on this and maybe laugh at myself, but as of right now, it isn't very funny. Maybe seeing other people's "oops" moments will help me to get over this more quickly, and to realize that I'm going to recover from shock/panic (hopefully before finals next week )____________________ |
