Brought to you from the Spinal Shark Collective (consisting of AJ 187, Midiman, and shakesoda), this build of Stepmania branches off of SM4 and makes it different. How different? Well... try it and find out!

This really benefits themers, as it gives them more options than any previous SM build has (including features for pausing mid-song). It also benefits the users, as this runs a lot smoother than previous SM builds (to me at least).

If you haven't tried SM4 yet, you should look at this.

Oh.

So lol simfiles work with it now? I heard SSC supposedly 'released' yesterday from what I read on BMS but I haven't taken a look at it just yet.

sm-ssc gets updates all the time. Just that you would have to compile them often if you want to be up to date. Generally they have public releases every now and then.

Latest is sm-ssc v1.0 Public Beta 2, which was out March 31st. The third public release should be out soon.

I read something about SM-SSC in the calendar events or something on the forum, at least. I'm still pretty much holding on to 3.9+ redux for as much as I can get out or until there's a major reason to swap.

Course, I'll be looking over these later.
