Whoo. The "shiny" effect behind the taskbar is actually because I went into photoshop and added a bit of gradient there (in small icon mode, the taskbar is 30 pixels tall, and in large mode it is 40px.) I really could have just used Paint I suppose.

Also yay Small Mode in Steam.

Why so small X? I'm stuck with 1366x768 since I'm on a laptop. I don't mind it though, its about the right size for 15.6"

Also my home monitor has a really nice feature that letterboxes any non-native resolution so it doesn't look like dog shit.

(it's also an HP monitor)
