Livestream is slow on my PC after a while but that's probably because it's old.

Runs much smoother on the dual-core laptop my parents have. Go figure.

Adobe Flash tends to slow down from time to time in any browser I have installed, and yes I cleared my cache a bunch of times. I can only hope silverlight actually will come of use someday, though linux users probably won't get to see silverlight content and if so then that could be a huge drawback when compared to flash.

And livestream does tend to go slow for me as well, currently using Google Chrome.

I was using Silverlight a lot during the Olympics to watch stuff... again, slow as hell on my PC. Much better on a dual-core.

Yeah, the speed of silverlight can vary on different PC configurations, like with flash. I can't really decide which one will truly come out to the top in the end.

Silverlight wasn't that bad on our computers, when I used it for the Olympics. 'Twas crap on our laptop, for sure, but that's cause 512mb of RAM doesn't really cut it.

Opposite here since I have 1 GB of RAM and it was awful. Ran fine if I killed other programs but otherwise it was very choppy.
