OMFG this game is awesome. Before the game game out, I wasn't really interested in it. Then I played the demo and I knew I had to play it. The story is amazing and the sound effects and music and hearing people scream in the dark, well, its really fun to play in the dark. Its short, at least from what I've heard. I know two people who've already beaten it in two days. I've been playing for over a week now and I'm not finished with it. But that's mainly because I've been looking everywhere and trying to get all 122 audio dairies (I'm almost there!!). If it wasn't for Halo 3 and Mass Effect (maybe) coming out this year, I think this could win Game of the Year. Or if anything, the sleeper hit title, since we didn't start to really sell it until word of mouth go around.

My thread wasn't good enough? *sniffle*

But yeah, I was looking forward to this game a while before it came out, and when the amazingly positive reviews came out, I couldn't wait.

Played it, and it did more than live up to the hype. Amazing graphics, atmosphere, story, and gameplay. It's got it all. I'm actually just about to start my second play-through tonight while I'm back home so I can save all the Little Sisters this time. That's right, I was a mean bastard and harvested them last time.

my neighbor (upstairs) beat it in like 2/3 days, but he doesn't do anything but play games -- I mean ANYTHING.

it looks like a good game, but I can't say I'm really interested -- I can't focus on video games anymore, my mind wanders to... other things, and I just can't care after a short time of playing.

It reminds me a lot of a non-post-nuclear fallout because of the retro styled graphics.

Speaking of fallout, I can't wait for fallout 3 to arrive -- sure bethesda changed a lot, but I think it will be a great game -- every bethesda game (minus the star trek one, I didn't like it, though I also dislike star trek so...) I've played is great. I think Bethesda is the new square, honestly, square enix seems to be falling behind the times with their RPGs, will bethsoft has a more edgy approach to RPGs...

I'd like to so bethsoft gain the rights to knights of the old republic -- imagine a star wars RPG on an oblivion-like engine. It'd be awesome if you had directional control of the lightsaber for epic duels... *drool*

I hope Bethesda doesn't fuck up F3. I hope it doesn't become in to an all graphics no gameplay game like Oblivion.

Anyways, BioShock is awesome. There's nothing like hearing your friend, who is an adult, scream like a little girl upon being scared. Hell yeah.

Sorry, Nick, I didn't see your thread.

I beat the game last night, with all 122 audio dairies. Never gonna do that again. Now I'm going to play it again, this time I'm going to harvest the little girls.

Is it true there's three different endings? I keep hearing rumors of that at my store.

All I know of is the two endings, but I'm not sure.

This time around I have to get all the audio diaries and weapon upgrades, since last time...

Well, I'm running through the game for a second time, just so I can get the second ending from harvesting all of the little sisters. There's a few achievements that I'm missing from the game (5 to be exact) that I want to nab before I finally put this game down for a while.

Okay, there's three endings to the game. One good, one sad and one evil (mad). The evil and sad are the same, save for Dr. Tenebaum tone. One she is mad and the other is a sad tone.

Plus, anyone want/need the Bioshock orchestral tracks, let me know, I just downloaded them. These are the tracks not found on the music CD that came with the collector's edition.
