Thoughts? Do you eat leftovers or do they just rot in the fridge until someone throws them out?

No more than a couple of days before it gets tossed. Don't want roaches. Or stories about a radioactive waste pit growing in the corner of the insane asylum that is my apartment.

As long as they can be eaten safely I'll take the opportunity to do so.

After a few days though, the trash is where leftovers should be located in.

I refuse to touch leftovers (from here, at least) because they're usually left out for hours and hours, and the last time I did I ended up feeling absolutely terrible for about a week.

I eat small amounts at a time, so usually I eat everything. What I don't eat, I throw away then and there.

However, sometimes I will eat part of a container of something and forget about it. Usually snack foods that I buy at school and such. I throw those away after a while if they've been opened.

Just had some spaghetti from last night. I think it tasted better the next day.

Usually after one day, I'll throw it out. Unless it's pizza.

Generally I won't eat leftovers, never. I never liked the idea of eating leftovers anyways plus the food isn't as great when eaten that way.

I typically don't eat leftovers, although if I'm running low on food and don't feel like going to the store, it's fair game. =)

It depends on what kind of leftovers it is. For instance, leftover steak, lasagna, and other assorted pasta and meat dishes are palatable as leftovers. They don't taste as good as when they were fresh, but you can eat them. Whereas cooked vegetables and some types of takeout food (Chinese for me) are disgusting and I won't touch them.

Leftovers are good stuff. Especially because it means I can be lazy and not actually cook something (microwaving is not cooking).

I also "steal" desserts from the buffet-cafeteria on a daily basis. I don't label it, especially because I have a feeling that some of the stuff in my food drawer is from March...

As long as it isn't moldy, it's ok.

I have really low standards for food.

You know, you said almost exactly what I said in a more interesting and elongated fashion. Damn my terse posts!

Depending on how much is left, and the food left. We sometimes have leftover nights, where we get everything possible left over out of the refrigerator, and eat what we can. Most of the time there isn't much, though, and sometimes things go bad before we get a chance to eat whats left.

Yeah I'll usually eat leftovers, unless it's a couple days old.

Next day chili is the best!

Which answers the question posed in this thread, yes I eat leftovers, I try not to have any though if can be avoided. Just in case they do sit in the fridge for a while.
