Basically a very popular flash DDR/whatever clone.
Becouse each song is a file (mostly, there are often compilations and larger proyects) there's a massive number of them scattered around the internet.
There are many interconnected japanese webrings about them.
The gameplay is basically 5 keys (four arrows + onigiri) or 7 keys (six arrows + onigiri or four arrows + three AA)
Of course, with how much I've ended up playing it I could just have got one of the actual games instead, but this is fun too. Specially when they do things like summer festivals and whatnot.
