In case you are not up to speed about what is going on: Episode 200 of the show South Park was basically pulling every old rehash of jokes in the past and using a new one that is shocking the Islamic religion.

Basically, they brought Muhammad to the show. Dressed in a bear suit. And the Muslums are super duper pissed yo

I highly recommed watch this before reading the rest of this post

http://www.revolutionislam.com/ (Now hacked, it shows images of the prophet Muhammad with a bomb on his head) were calling out "Death Threats" to the creators. And the episode has been pulled from South Park Studios.

It seems that every religion can be mocked. However you dick around with the Muslim religion? Consider your ass gone.

They even did the same shit with Little Big Planet. Some Muslim got a copy of the game about two weeks early. And one fucking song from the game had quotes from the quran (Or however you spell it)

And if I remember correctly, they even had a hissy fit over one of the Zelda games.

It makes me mad that you have to bend over backwards over this one religion.

Only thing this show is doing wrong is portraying Muhammad. He does not say anything, does not do anything, and is just a bar that says "Censored". Hell, even his name was bleeped out. And in this episode, every single sentence has his name on it!

But get this! This episode was aired in like 2000 or something! Guess who does not have that bar around him!?

That's why most Christians in the US are viewed as being crazy nutjobs. Only the loudest, meanest, stupidest arrogant pieces of shit on the planet are ever heard.

Also with the way our news is broadcast, you only hear of the "zomg terribad" stuff that happens. Try to think now, what's the last good thing you heard on the news? It's hard to recall, right? There's always something atrocious that happened that takes precedence in your memory.

Yea it does suck for us okay Muslims. I haven't met a single Mosey who was offended by any representation of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh). They've all said that it's a form of free expression. Even if you don't agree with it or are offended by it, you can choose to ignore it.

Also, it's funny how these complaints get blown out of proportion. ONE guy complained about a song in LittleBigPlanet. Also that song was part of a genre of music that mixes Islamic elements with music(music has an important role in this religion in virtually every country) so of course there would be Quranic verses. And the game got delayed. And the story was highly publicized. What the fudge?

There are so many news stories that go unnoticed and others that are sensationalized based on what news outlets think people would react the most to.

It's like, these people somehow rule the world.

And yeah, the thing is that the already ridiculous stuff they do gets often blown out of proportion. The difference is that the idiots that are christian are portrayed as most normal people living in the US, while the idiots that are muslim are portrayed as the voice of all muslims and have nukes.
