Yep, this is pretty much all I do.

I curse a lot. Or throw the controller. Or if my pillow is nearby, I will punch it.

I either hit the power switch or just flip the breaker on the power bar.

I did once "break" a controller during Final Fantasy X, of all games. Fuck trying to get Tidus' ultimate weapon in that stupid chocobo race.

I put quotations around break, since it was unusable since the shoulder buttons were jammed inside the controller. However, I was able to take it apart and put them back into place. It was a pain in the ass to get the controller back together, but I did it.

Heh, I remember doing that myself. Man was that ever aggravating. Really surprised that I didn't break the Ps2 or the TV.

I scream.

There have been times where I've cracked and tried to break controllers in half, though.

Ever since that one thread, I've adopted the neoclassical Barret-Cid swearing style for minor rage.

Major rage is just deep silence while I calm down. It freaks people out though, because I just... turn off for a few minutes.

The pinnacle of nerdrage for me was the rhythm game in Zack&Wiki, where you have to shake the wiimote in time with an object on the screen moving; it was buggy and the tempo swayed back and forth drunkenly. After three attempts I had to go lie down so as to not inflict violence on inanimate objects nearby.

I don't throw controllers because my dad broke an SNES controller that way when I was little and I guess it's a strong memory. (He was playing Lemmings and had nearly got the last of the 'secret' levels, I forget what they're called, and lost everything to a misclick.)
