I remember having trouble with BS-Zelda's timer, maybe because I tend to play games I'm not incredibly familiar with by wandering aimlessly for a long time until I find something. I often prefer not to look up times in a guide every few minutes.

I had some trouble too with the BS-Zelda's timer, not to mention that I didn't like that there was a timer there in the first place, but it just had to exist. Still, BS-Zelda still remains one of my favourites, though not as favourable as Link's Awakening, but still a really great game to me.

I love BS Zelda becouse of the timer. It gives an urgency feel similar to Majora's Mask... Like, the world is actually going to be ruined if you don't save it.

Ok, in the first three chapters you can just rush through the dungeons and will have a lot of time to get bored around, but the last chapter is great. Specially becouse by the time you get out of the last dungeon it will be 3:45, the world will be with a [trope=DramaticThunder]generic thunderstorm of evil[/trope], you will be missing the Silver Arrows and they will have taken away the sword and armor.

I suppose the BS-Zelda timer does give it an added challenge, while having a similar feel of Majora's Mask like you said.

I still don't mind the timer though, not really a big deal, though the timer can be somewhat annoying 'sometimes'.
