Don't you just hate waiting for a package to arrive? My brother got me a Bamboo tablet for my birthday and the package has yet to arrive after a weeks worth of waiting...I hate waiting for packages...

It's not so bad if it has tracking so you can see where it is, and can see that it's actually moving.

No tracking though? Makes me really anxious.

I ordered some clothes online to be shipped to my mom (as I'll be moving). This was a few weeks ago and she still hasn't got them.

Also, I reserved a room in Seattle and specifically asked for a confirmation E-mail, and E-mailed again asking for one, and I haven't got anything

Luckily, whenever I have ordered a game online I have received it...

once it turned out to be a pirate copy though, that made me pissed! V_v

And yeah, waiting for stuff ordered sucks, I keep thinking it won't show up.

I loath waiting. Even if its when I'm in a line for a minute. I have to have something to do.

It's most infuriating when someone says "Patience is a virtue" -- don't give me some goddamn cliché, it's not helping.

Sometimes if I'm waiting for something, that's wasted time in which I could have been doing something productive! You don't always have the luxury of being able to do something else when you're waiting in a line somewhere or sitting in traffic or whatever.

I think of how much of my life I won't get back that has been spent waiting at red lights and such and it makes me sad.

I am convinced that the UPS man is mocking me because today and yesterday he brought packages...for my parents....trailer blocks and a dress...no tablet. No shiny beautiful Bamboo tablet...and in my sadness the Ice Cream Truck is mocking me as well

I hate waiting, I'm still waiting for a keyboard that I ordered overseas from an asus parts shop online, and I don't even get tracking, by the way this is week 3 of me waiting for my delivery to arrive, which probably won't be for another week or two.

I wait for the tram everyday...

I tend to get really pissed off at it when it can't hold it's time table.

Sure they always have some excuse... but if there are this many problems then you should look into fixing them! V_v;

Tracking is a great way to make the waiting easier, unless it so happens that your package sits in a UPS facility just a few miles away from your house for a couple days before they finally deliver it.

I've only had this happen once, but it was rather annoying.

I had to order a SCSI drive case online for my Performa 575, and it took a while for it to get here... only to dump it a month later since I got a SCSI-to-IDE adapter to connect a 2GB IDE drive in the computer. =/

I am really excited for this package to get here because this will be my first tablet and it will make drawing so much easier. I have always wanted one but it was always pretty low on my want list. Now that it's ticket is up it seems that it is going to take FOREVER to get here. I told my brother he could just buy it from Best Buy but he didn't listen to me as usual.

I can say from experience with my 'Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch' is that the active drawing area is perfect for my size since I can draw with so much ease, compared to my previous wacom tablet that I had and the other one was huge and it was 9x12 too.

And if you want to check out my gallery of some of my drawing, feel free to hop on over to http://furaffinity.net/user/mileshayashi/

I'm still waiting for my imported keyboard with the different layout, I want to replace my current keyboard layout on my netbook to match my main notebook so badly!

I love ordering from Newegg.com. Their warehouse is in California and if I order something before noon its usually here the next day. I don't even have to pay for overnight shipping. They do late night pick-ups with UPS and its out that night, in town at 2am then out for delivery at 5am.

But yes, I do hate waiting. There's not really any other website I can order from that is this fast. When I ordered our laptops from Tigerdirect.com, I had to wait about 7 days because I ordered on a weekend and then it came in 2 boxes. The first one came with our accessories and the other one came a day later with the laptops.

I didn't like tigerdirect, I had bad experience with them when I ordered a PC case from them years ago in 2006 and even though I returned the case for a replacement, the replacement case they shipped to me was damaged too. Never again will I order through tigerdirect though, I'm still not over them to this day.

And I wish I could change my shipping option for my orders, I'd be willing to pay more to get my items sooner.

Paulguy's Post configuration
I'm currently waiting on newegg for some hard drives. I had one 1.5TB drive die on me and my current 1.5TB drive is starting to click a lot, so I have ordered 2 1TB drives that I plan to RAID 1. I should be good on storage space for a while, but these HD movies are pretty huge...

I honestly don't know what the deal is. I don't bang stuff around and nothing is overheating. I did hear that UPS stuff tends to suffer a rather bad shock during shipping, so I opted for fedex this time, which was $18 extra just for the cheapest option. D:

What brand? When it comes to hard drives, certain brands stand the test of time better than others. I've had mostly Seagate and Hitachi, which are lesser known brands, but never had 1 crash over 10 years of owning them. But it sometimes happens more often with large capacity drives, too.

As far as tigerdirect goes, I used them to order our laptops because they were the only ones with a medium priced notebook that could handle video games. Its not the best but it plays everything I've tried just fine. Plus you can get up to 8% back with bing.come cashback program and we got $150 back from our purchase. It took 60 days but it was like getting a rebate.

Speaking of hard drives, at my job where I work, there had been a recent batch of hard drives (from 250gb up to 500gb) that were bad and many of our customers had old dying hard drives this week, this week has been a 'hard drive havok' (if that makes any sense) and the brand my boss purchases is western digital. I used to not like the seagate brand in the past because of past problems with them, but I've gotten over them and their hard drives last year and this year haven't been too bad since I had gotten an external hard drive at the end of last year which was seagate and I also discovered my ASUS K70IO notebook was equipped with a seagate hard drive too.

And I still cannot stop thinking about my keyboard for my netbook and the website I ordered my keyboard from still reports the status 'awaiting parts', which of course means that they don't have the part to ship to me at this time, but I'm hoping for my keyboard to arrive early.

I'm a pretty inpatient person, but waiting usually isn't a problem, because my mind is quite creative which stops me from being bored. I can just close my eyes and imagine, for example, levitating around, which makes waiting for something a lot easier. Or I just grab my DS and play something
(I'm talking about waiting e.g. in a line, not long-term waiting for something).

Usually when I order something, I get it right away. Now waiting to get my XB360 back, that was a long arse wait that drove me nuts.
