And even though I didn't have much to post yesterday, I still managed to get first place again, even if by just one post...

On another note, my left ankle gave out and I scrapped and bruised myself and fell to the ground, and now my good pants are ripped and the palm of my hands hurt so much, its really tough to type with hurting palm hands. I hope later today will actually be better for me.

Yikes!

Well.. I guess I wouldn't call this holiday bad, considering that yesterday was a different day that I'm sure that people will know about already. And I also noticed that this holiday doesn't have an origin, according to the website provided in the link that you gave us.

Sadly, I don't have a picture of my kindergarten year at hand, nor do I have a scanner at this time.

(So far my stomach still has been on a nuclear meltdown, basically what I'm trying to say is that I keep getting stomach ulsars and the pain in my stomach isn't gonna be going away anytime soon, if the pain is still bad or worse tomorrow, I may have to do something about it.)

Kindergarten. I remember it now.

Punching people an--what did you expect? It was brawling all the way up to 4th grade. Although kindergarten was initially okay, and involved mostly play time over other activities. Also making weird ceramic clay things.

And playing Oregon Trail II on Apple IIes.

First day was memorable, but not so much for what I did; I remember just wandering in and being aloof about it, while other children freaked out about being away from their mothers.

Then again, as my Mom said, I had a tendency to want to be left alone from a young age. It is only recently I developed any appreciation for socialization.

I bit a kid on the arm in kindergarten and I got hit by a paddle from the principal for it.

A kid asked me to hold it for him and another kid came up and tried to take it.

I temember being crazy bored in Kindergarten. I already knew the alphabet and numbers and colours and such, and sometimes I'd liven things up by getting stuff wrong on purpose And I remember my mom getting upset that I got a "Needs Improvement" in "Participates in class discussions" (or something to that effect) twice in a row. I've always been a loner.

I had to take kindergarten twice. The teachers didn't feel that I was ready to move on to 1st grade.

Then I was moved up a grade in the middle of 6th grade to 7th grade. It wasn't to get me on the right track to graduated at the right age but it was because I lived in a bad area and they moved everyone that lived in the trailer park up a year.

Bad choice educational wise, but my life wouldn't have ended up what it is today if I didn't stay in 6th grade for the whole year.

I did so well academically in 3rd grade in Buffalo that they skipped me to 5th grade, but sadly we moved to Michigan midway through the school year in 5th grade. I finished 5th grade, we moved again, and I had to take 5th grade again

So overall I graduated in 2005, when I was expected to since Kindergarten, but if we had stayed in the Buffalo area I could have graduated in 2004.

I nearly failed 7th grade because of some issues with people, including the one who would eventually become my girlfriend nearly a decade later... but at least I still managed to barely pass; however, 9th grade was also terrible for me, since I was nearly expelled for a supposed bomb threat. =/

After coming back from my week-long suspension, I emerged with a new personality... =D

My 10th grade was the worst grade of my life, I gotten framed and accused of crashing the school's network of computers, which by the way were all running windows 98 at the time, yes I did get suspected. Turned out I gotten a week of suspension and I got banned from using the computers for the rest of 10th grade, then my family moved to a different town, but not because of what happened during my school year.

I was bored to tears in elementary school, sometimes literally. I was home-schooled in sixth grade and did two years of math because I found it fun

One of my few memories from kindergarten, I remember making onion soup and we had a contest to see who could go the longest without crying from cutting the onions. I didn't win, but I remember that for some reason. And nap time, I miss that. I wish more jobs would implement the option of the siesta, it improves productivity they say!

One of my very best moments as a kid was the field trips, one of the field trips I got to go on was to go see an aquarium, it was wonderful to see ocean life and I had thought that to be fascinating. But that was so long ago in the 2nd grade and I think I got to see another aquarium in the 4th grade too, I haven't been to an aquarium in ages though.

(Unrelated, but the right palm of my hand seems to have healed up quite a bit, though both my knees and left palm still hurt so much, I'm not really too concerned about my ripped pants though, but as long as I'm okay at least.)

We had some cool field trips and some lame ones.

I remember one that was different forms of transportation. We took a bus from Niagara Falls to Buffalo, then a subway in Buffalo, then a boat in Lake Erie, then a train back to Niagara Falls. I found that interesting, but maybe I'm weird and I also obsess over maps and such.

I've taken at least 2 trips to zoos, a trip to a museum with dinosaur stuff, and some other cool things. The worst was probably the 6th-grade class trip to a rural juvenile detention facility to go on something called a "ropes course", which seems to be this "team-building" physically-exhausting thing that's supposed to be "fun", but not for weak unathletic computer nerds like me. They were hugely popular in the Thumb for some reason.
