I don't like the taste of most alcoholic beverages that I tried, and I don't want to be drunk. It hasn't stopped a lot of people from pressuring me into drinking alcohol though.

I think it and marijuana should be legal though.

Yes, there are some stuff that I don't know about completely, and thus I group the harmless with the harmful, but if anything changes someone's behavior enough, then I'll try and stay away. I'm friends with the person that isn't influenced.

If a substance has a potential side-effect on my body (whether temporary or permanent), then I won't take it. I might regret being drunk, just as I might regret losing people close to me because I did drugs.

Though I haven't drank, smoked cigarettes or weed yet, I have always wondered what it is like. Though that isn't enough for me to do either.

I did give serious thought to the pot smoking today though, but decided against it. A drug is still a drug, and will hurt me, and my running ability, in the long run somehow. Though I do believe pot should be legalized.

I won't be, but I have convinced three others to quit this past year. Their grades have improved tremendously by doing so, and their felonies have decreased. Take that however you want, but I'll remain adamant in my belief that drugs, both medical and recreational, cloud the judgement of the consumer on too high (see what I did thar?) a level to be allowed. I value reason and logic, I've seen neither of those accomplished by a druggie.
