I didn't have tend to have a problem with other bugs, and speaking of bugs, I noticed the 'bugs' topic seems to have duplicated itself inside of this thread too, or so I noticed.

I've seen a snail, but have never seen a slug. Though I have put salt on a snail while its head while out of its shell and it was amusing to watch.

How cruel...

Though I've never been courageous enough to get close to a snail or slug anyways, so I shouldn't talk.

Even though it never killed them, I loved pouring water on an ant hill and seeing them all be swept away.

When we lived in Puerto Rico, my brother and I had a bebe gun with no bebes... so we used coconut seeds. They worked well enough. Anyway, we would try to shoot the lizards there, occasionally we would hit one and it would pretty much split in 2 if we hit it in the center.

I find hurting bugs to be cruel and mean, but I suppose that is the cycle of life I guess, something I've already gotten used to in my life.

I do confess that as a kid that I would simply just push on ants with my finger and just squishing them flat, and yes I was cruel as a child.

I remember when I was a kid I would always cover the ant hill thinking I trapped all the ants inside, though now I realize, colonies have more than one ant hill.

I wish it could have been a sun shiny day for me, but no, instead it rains here today , though there isn't any hail or snow here.

Am I lucky or unlucky, folks?

Odd weather here, too. Yesterday's high was 86. Today's: 61

Go figure.

I'm sad to say that the weather here probably won't get anywhere near 25° C today for me, currently 19° C for me at the moment. I certainly hope that the heat will be on the rise, I hate the left over wintry cold mix.

It's 82 and sunny right now.

Only shame is that I had to ride my bike after working an 8 hour shift in that. Rather have been dressed differently.

Its supposed to rain sometime between this afternoon and tomorrow... I hope it does. We've had unusually high amounts of rain so far this year, and even more would be better for the dry spell we've been through the past few years.

It hasn't rain that much this Spring...or really stormed. I mean we had those two days when it down poured, but it wasn't anything major. This might mean a bad hurricane season this year.
