I forgot to mention that after the 4th Harry Potter movie, I read all the books up the the 6th one (7th wasn't out yet) in about 3 months. Those aren't short books either. And I've read through the LotR trilogy not just once, but twice so far. Planning on it again soon, after I finish the Magician series.

I don't read as much anymore... but back in the day it was Redwall, Animorphs, and Goosebumps. Harry Potter as well, I guess.

I read the entirety of Twilight in 7 hours. Straight.

Had it been a normal book, I would have liked it. But with all the hype and such, I was expecting a little more than what I got. Not to mention that the movie didn't do it any justice.

I read New Moon for the heck of it. I haven't seen the movie, and I'm not planning on it.

Also, I found this to be hilarious.

I don't read much books, but one book that I did read back in elementary was really intriguing, to the point I wanted to buy it for myself. I can't remember the title of it, but it had a squirrel that was cast out of a forest er... village? And he came back and disguised himself as an old grandmother with an earhorn. Oh, and something about a sycamore tree.

There was this other one about a kid who meets two time-traveller kids which take him into the future, Time-something, I forget.

Oh, and the Crucible. That was a good one.

In terms of plays, Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice was really good.

I thought it was pretty good, although it was definitely strange. And rather dark.

The Pearl Series by Eric Van Lustbader. It's one of my all-time favorite series. First book is "The Ring of Five Dragons" if anyone is interested. CHECK IT OUT!

Ender's Game was great.

I also recommend the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov.

I was going to mention a book in my previous post, but I completely forgot.

Tarcadia, by Jonathan Campbell.

It takes place literally several minutes away from my mother's house near the Tar Ponds in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. I unfortunately haven't read the whole book.

Hubby is a HUGE fan of the Dragonlance series. He's been trying to get me to read them for a while now.
