Sorry I haven't been in the best of moods lately, I'm still depressed about many things at the moment, most of which are problems with the people on SL and they have sucked the happiness right out of me just like the dementors in the Harry Potter series do/did to their victims. Never feeling whole again because of SL.

Never played Second Life, but if its as addicting as World of Warcraft is then I can understand a little of what you're going through. Just take a break from it for a while. Uninstall it from your computer so you can't just start it up as soon as you get on. Read some books, find a TV show to watch, do something else for a week or 2 and then see where you're. If you want to get right back in, then find some new friends and do something different after you reinstall it.

I was absent this weekend because of 2 things:

1 - had to clean all afternoon on sunday after we got home from church.
2 - Was at the drag races most of the day saturday! had nitro in my lungs and burnt rubber on my skin, its so much fun! After being in the sun 1/3 of the day, we went home and jumped in the cold swimming pool and then camped out the rest of the night in the living room playing video games.

I had kept SL uninstalled and deleted my SL account over 2 months ago, I should have mentioned that fact earlier, and I don't plan on ever going back on to SL.

You may have mentioned it but I didn't catch it. But thats good. Now just find something else to keep yourself occupied. I've come to realize that everyone will have something they focus on, whether its a video game, work, a person, their kids, or whatever else their hobby is. We may all do 100 things in a week, but theres 1 thing we do more than everything else. So just find something else for that 1 thing to take your mind off everything that happened before.

One of the techs at my job actually plays SL, and is the one responsible for showing me that dreaded virtual world back in 2006, so work won't keep my mind off of that trash 3D place.

Lately, I've been coming here a lot more than usual, though I feel as though I shouldn't even be here.

You keep saying this, and I really, truly, honestly don't think that it's true. You may be being too hard on yourself or setting yourself to too high a standard.

What do you mean by 'too high a standard'?

And I do keep saying that I shouldn't be here, maybe they should leave their opinion about me if I should be gone.

I don't know what I mean. Again, I'm really bad at this type of stuff. But like maybe you're disappointed with your own actions/progress or something? And I'm saying there's no need to be that way. Be happy with who you are.

I cannot be happy with who I am if I cannot have a good life.

I'm just gonna leave Jul if that will make anyone happy. If so, then goodbye...

You can't keep being all depressed in ever thread that you post in. I was depressed BIG time these past few weeks and I tried to keep it in one or two threads that I made.

Shit happens. To everyone. If you keep thinking negatively then nothing will come out of it and you will stay in that state for a long time.

No, its not easy getting over drama/crap but if you keep typing and telling yourself that you don't belong or that you want to leave, it's just going to make everything that much worse.

Trust me, almost 85% of the people here don't feel like they belong, myself included, but you know what? We just move on because that's life.

I don't mean to be harsh or rude, its just how I see it.

I do agree with you, however I hadn't really been myself because of reasons explained in this thread that may have been seen already:

http://jul.rustedlogic.net/thread.php?id=9048

And I know what will happen to me if I don't move on, but still you are right and I do need to move on.

I'll let this thread get back on topic with other stuff now, no one needs to hear me whining in here.

Today its sunny outside, but it doesn't feel warm outside, instead it kind of feels like its still winter with the wintery cold going on outside, and I'm actually wearing heat absorbing clothes right now.

Today it's about 20-22C outside. Perfect for a walk, if I felt like walking.

Wish it was that warm for me, too bad its 13° C here for me, though it actually feels much colder than that for me.

64F/18C here, right now.

I prefer upper 40s-low 50s. Bugs don't tend to be out as often then.

I'll take the rainbows then

I've seen some beautiful rainbows at Niagara Falls, including a huge double rainbow. Even the 2nd rainbow was clearly visible although not nearly as vivid as the 1st.

Here it's 63°F, 17°C, although it was quite a bit colder this morning.
