As I said IRL, it looks great. Sorry I couldn't be of much use other than explaining layouts but Tyty did a much better job than I ever could have done.
- It'd probably be easier to read with white text, or a lighter box
- The background won't tile well horizontally (but it's fine at lower resolutions)
- The background's filesize is 557k (that'd take minutes to load on dialup ...)

Overall, a simple and clean layout. I like the colors and they're easy on the eyes. It's pretty vivid on my LCD monitor, but I probably have my color settings a little brighter than usual.

Onyx did until recently.
Also, some people live in areas that don't have broadband service, like I did until 2005, or they have trouble with money and go with dialup because it's less expensive.

I sometimes browse the internet through my phone. I don't post at Jul with it, but I wonder if anyone else does.
Hm. I do sometimes (I even posted a few times), but I always edit my profile to disable avatars and layouts. It's a bit slow to do it every time though ._.

Jul gives me a hard time on my Performa 575, unfortunately... even though I disable CSS and Javascript. It still manages to crash iCab. =(
I've browsed Jul on every one of my computers that has internet connectivity, actually... including my two Performas, my Pentium II, and this computer with Windows 7. Also, I've browsed it on three consoles: the DSi, the PSP, and the Wii, too. =D
