I didn't go to the university today. I was awake in time and all, but just lacked incentive to go. I have some godawful classes today. Double Jurisprudence and Administrative Law.

So now, I'm in bed watching the fifth season of How I Met Your Mother.

Awesome! I'm moving there on May 16th and I'll be staying with my brother ... Do you study in Philadelphia?

Mythbusters told me an interesting statistic: Worldwide, 15 people per year are killed by sharks. 150 are killed by falling coconuts. Yay perspective!

I also find it amusing the channel had an actual "Shark Week". Hmmmm.

And my wife is still terrified of sharks... literally. I can't get her in deeper than her shins in the ocean without her having a panic attack. And she can even scare herself into thinking theres a shark IN THE POOL! She's told me of a few times her and her sister were in a pool, just themselves, and actually scared themselves so bad they had to get out... of their own pool! She always assumes any body of water has sharks in it, and that they have GPS tracking on her so no matter where she goes, they will follow...

I don't know if I posted about it yet (I forget,) but for my birthday (if nobody noticed the thread,) I got a new guitar tuner!

I also got a new guitar stand as well, but I got that myself. It definitely makes it easier for me to pick up my guitar and play.

...has she talked to a doctor? Unless she's 5 years old, that seems like a sign of some pretty severe mental issues...

Also, I got three wrong numbers this morning. Someone called, left an empty message on the voicemail, and called again, then a few hours later I got a text addressed to someone I don't know. Hopefully this isn't going to be a trend...
Clearing the message was kinda funny though. "First new message: End of message." I guess the system's not smart enough not to save messages that are less than a second long and completely silent.

Little over a month ago there were sharks at the beach where I was at. There wasn't that many people in the water since the water was still pretty cold.

Most of it is in fun, like the GPS thing. But the part about her and her sister scaring themselves in their pool was from about 10 years go. Now its just a minor phobia, she doesn't like to be alone in a pool and doesn't like going in the ocean. She did say that its probably from a time they were at the beach and there was a small shark on the sand but her sister walked up to it and it thrashed and almost bit her. We think that was the cause of her fear.

I'm still rather fearful of dogs and I'm 22. I'm guessing it's from a home that we occasionally visited when I was very young, that had a dog penned up in an enclosure blocking the stairs. If I wanted to go upstairs for any reason there, I had to go through the dog's area.

Phobia of water. I don't like it much myself but then again I can't swim.

I hate bees. I'm not even allergic (I don't think...) to them and I despise the little bastards.

I can't say that I have any phobias, but I don't like the dark. Just because you can't see what or who is there. I'm not terrified of it, I just would rather see. That and clowns, I hate them. My brothers made me watch Stephen King's It when I was young and that clown put me off them for the rest of my life. I can't even look at Ronald McDonald and not despise him.

I absolutely hate heights. How I managed to get across the river on the footbridge underneath the George St. Bridge and lived in residence, I do not know.

Swimming is at its most basic level "flailing arms around". After about three seconds in water you realize how to move. After about an hour you can learn how to move effectively.

Then again, I live in a desert, and pools are usually the only method of cooling off that doesn't involve running up the power bill to "rape with a dollar sign in front of it" levels.

Who doesn't hate bees?

Fear is hard to get out of me. A full sized doberman pinscher bit off my face; I don't care anymore, knowing what it feels like makes even those nasty dogs seem pathetic.

Bees... I avoid them just because they're annoying. Having been stung by wasps repeatedly and later having fought and killed them inside my room, and then later fighting an entire hive of them with pesticide, I am not particularly afraid of them but find their stings to be incredibly inconvenient, so I try to give them a wide berth.

Heights... not really, I've hung off the side of a mountain with nothing more than metal bars to clutch on to.

Water... I can swim and dive. The ocean doesn't like me though, it throws me onto the beach whenever I tried to swim into it.

About all I'm worried about is grades in important classes and my computer exploding at random.
