I've gotten into the Metroid series recently and decided I might as well give a go at my first hack. I've downloaded Double Helix for the map editor and I also have a Hex Editor if ever needed. Recently though, I've been thinking about replacing Brinstar's Tileset with the Chozodia ruins. Is this possible through Double Helix, or is there a better editor out there that I should use that can do this task as well?

I think interdpth passed on Double Helix's development to someone else, unfortunately I don't know the details. You may have better luck asking on Metroid Construction or at least searching through it if you don't want to register. It's sort of where all metroid hacking moved to after leaving Metroid 2002 for the most part.

As for your question i can't help since i haven't touched mzm hacking at all. Hopefully you can find something at that link.
