They didn't seem that bad... I didn't have any problem with them, I think. Nothing notable about it. (Except Falkner used Roost, but only once...)

Also, just reached level 7 in Voltorb Flip. Arrrrgh I lost so many times in Level 6.

[edit] well, hit a voltorb while having about 460 coins, and then hit one again. dropped to level 3...
[edit2] got to level 4, hit a voltorb, then hit a second one on my first flip. dropped to level 1. shgrshgh fuck it i'm out

Falkner (it should be Faulkner, but there was only room for 7 characters in trainer names in the original GSC) has Roost now, which recovers half of your HP... but I think he only gets 10 uses of it anyway... and Bugsy has U-Turn now, which is really powerful, but he has to switch out after usage. =P

Edit: Oh, and both of their rosters have gained some levels between GSC and HGSS, too.

Unfortunately I've found out about Roost and U-Turn the hard way (I should have metioned that) however I didn't know they increased in levels though

also I've defeated Whitney and I see that her Miltank has gone down a level (the only level change I've noticed) and it seems have lost rollout and now has milk drink instead unless Miltank had milk drink in Gold and Silver

I was lucky though too, no Rollout for me either.

I'm having problems with Claire, though! D:<
She has like 99 Full Restores and keep on switching her Pokémon and Paralyzes them and Shed Skin and aaaargh

Accidentally fought my rival in Azalea while badly outlevelled - 12 and 13.

Took out his level 18 Bayleef with my level 12 Spinarak by itself, no items. Go Spinny!

Currently in Goldenrod, played a little Voltorb Flip. Still trying to work out the details, but it's more reliable than the slots for me. Still wish I could buy coins though.

Lance could OHKO every one of my Pokemon with his Dragonites the first time I went up against him, AND he was quicker than all of them as well. Yeah, that wasn't fun. Still managed to beat him with my hilariously underleveled crew. I'll post the levels on them in a bit.

This weekend, I finished off the Johto Gyms, caught Ho-Oh (Fight it at night!), beat the Elite Four, and have 7/8th of the Kanto Gyms down. Took me far too long to realize I could get to the west side of Kanto via the Diglett Tunnel. :specialed:

My progress on PK-SS has been rather slow as of late. I've beaten the 6th and 7th gym leaders already but I'm still way behind you folks since I'm still at the radio tower in Goldenrod City and stopping the team rocket take over there.

I've been concentrating on 2 of my pokémon for now, my Typhlosion and my Ampharos which are in their early 40's and I realise I still have yet to continue training my other pokémon for the upcoming elite four that I will soon face later on.

I'm so eager to get to Kanto in this brilliant remake.
