I had Jury duty and had to stay for a month. Murder case as well as doing a drug case. I learned a lot about Meth and killing someone with a chainsaw. ____________________ __________________________________

I had to stay in a "Hotel" sure. I had a phone, food, a bed, and TV. No Internet though. That was the worst part about it. Phone calls were monitored. I had to request making a call. E- Hope that does not scare you Anya. This was an extreme case. ____________________ __________________________________

Few years back, my brother whose one year younger than me had to go to jury duty and he didn't like it very much. They do pay well. I earned 2k from a month's worth of jury duty. If I worked in a higher class, they would have never picked me. So consider it free gas depending on how long you spend there. Then again, you live in a different state, so I don't know how much they pay. By the way 30% of my pay on my Jury Duty was spent on cigs. Thank God I quit!
