Basically a classic Zelda clone mixed in with other 8bit games of the past.

How much will this game cost?

Yes it does. The company who made this game made this as a tribute!

So...what is so great about this game?
Well, first off. You can make your own hero! Sure you embark on your own quest to save the world. But instead of shooting sword beams out of your sword. You get HUGE SWORDS depending on how much life you have!

That's right. say if you have 20 hearts. Your sword will be huge! And I am talking MEGA HUGE! You will cut through the game itself!

Are the spells? Items to use? And other things?

Spells, a boomerang, and a hookshot have been confirmed. I have not looked in the Japanese version (Which has been released already) so I can not say if there are more items. Who cares? HUGE FUCKING SWORDS!

This game looks retarded. So much for PS3 graphics
Fuck you! This game is a huge "Thank you" to all other 8-16 bit games of the past. Every loading screen has something to do with a previous 8-16 bit game you may have played. (Metroid, Zelda, Metal Gear, Mario, etc). It's basically a love letter to everything holy that was that era. And it compares every loving moment of it. Take a break and play some classic gaming for a fucking change.

Is the music 8-bit?
Yes, Oh hell fucking yes. Well, almost. But it's epic.

I've been waiting for this game for awhile now. I'm really looking forward to it considering the fact that it's very reminiscent of the good bird's eye view Zelda games (I really haven't been impressed with the DS releases).

So it comes out May 11 to be exact and this is definitely the next game on my list of 2010 releases that I'm really looking forward to

This gleefully takes a lot from zelda. However I am glad to see more games of this type exist, and moreso the fact that it is not brown and grey.

The distance blur would drive me crazy however.

All in all, will probably play on friends PS3

I have to say, this looks ridiculously awesome, can't believe I haven't heard of it before. The character creator looks pretty nice, though that guy seemed to have trouble giving his Link a face.

Definitely getting it as soon as it comes out, it's going to be fun.

Friend of mine is importing this game from some website (Seen how it's already out in Japan), even though it does not have the extra stuff the American version is going to have; it's basically still the same game. And I am sure it does not take rocket science to know what to do in this game.

Even though I think the level of special effects it uses is almost absurd, I really like the 3D-pixels look. Kinda reminds me of Lego blocks. :3

"3D Dot Game Heroes plays like a version of Zelda that aged as well as your fond memories of the series."

Clearing dungeons requires tremendous concentration and practice, but if you're a true Zelda fan you've been training your whole life for this."

They gave it an 8.5. I so cannot wait for this game.

Honestly wish I owned a PS3 now. I won't say this justifies the purchase of the console, but uh...if I had that kind of money to burn it just might.

This is one of the downside with home consoles, if you want to play every game you're interested in, you have to buy all three fucking systems. V_v;

I'm starting to get even more excited about it as the release date approaches. Next week is going to suck as school is throwing a ton of tests, quizzes, and presentations at me although at least I know that there's going to be something to look forward to after all of the madness is done and gone
