I'm just warning you because there are quite a few Fire moves that later gym leaders and elite four members have that aren't even on fire pokemon. I've got a pretty big Fire weakness myself with having a Beedrill, Magneton and Meganium, so I'm not looking forward to Blaine. You may want to make sure you have a high level water pokemon for later on.

Question: Is training a Geodude->Graveler->Golem worth it? I never tried and am curious. Apparently rock types actually suck, and an Onix would be a much better choice.

I am keeping the Hoothoot though regardless if it turns out to be bad. Just becouse Noctowl's back animation is awesome.

Then again I should go get friend codes and actually bother to try the pokewalker instead but whatever. (And not post with this layout outside of craziness...)

You won't be able to get Zapdos until after you beat the 8 Kanto Gym leaders so I guess you can scratch that out. You could get an Electabuzz at the same spot though.

So I beat the rest of Kanto and worked my way to Mt. Silver. Those pokemon inside are much higher-level than I remember. Then again it's been a while since I played original silver so maybe not. At this point having just gotten Rock Climb, I'm gonna run around both Jotho and Kanto and see what stuff it hiding all over behind those rock climb areas.

I also caught Articuno at Seafoam with lots of Ultra Balls. Even paralyzed and down to like, no HP, it still was kicking.

I'm swapping my Fearow for a Pidgey, so I'm going to have to grind it up pretty quick. Also dropping my HM whore of a Bellsprout, and using a Elekid that I traded myself.

They were level 2/level 1 respectively, so I have to grind them quite a bit before Johto Gym 8.
