It would probably be better if you put your testbox to the left of your picture. Because pretty much all other layouts have the text on the far left, and yours will stand out (in a bad way) if you have the image first and then the textbox. Just my 2 cents. ____________________

I agree that you should flip your text and the image, especially since you can't read the post without scrolling at 1024x*.

I also find the font a bit hard to read, but maybe that's just me.

On your screen. Mine's at 100% so it always displays at the edge of the screen. Also, mirror the image and slam the textbox to the left.

I see no issue with the textbox being to the right (maybe I'm a minority here... nobody complained when I did it though), except that it scrolls on this end (at 1024x600) and it looks like it might on 1152x864 as well. You might want to cut a bit of the background showing off (and limit it to solely the character) if you do decide to keep the image on the left, though.

I would need help doing that, so If anyone can show me a site that can show me how to or are willin to do so themselves i would gladly change that around. I also think I am going to change the picture to something else after i get it drawn. As for the text bein on the right I like it that way makes me different then everyone else and that's the way I like it.

The only problem is the width of the picture. It's larger than the text and covers all the center of the post, so it gets much more attention.

Also I think the text area should expand all the way to the edge of the table.

The way it is right now... maybe you could offset the background a little to the left, so the character isn't on the center, while increasing the right textbox's width. The tiling shoulnd't be much problem as the textbox will cover it anyways.
Or you could just keep the textbox of that size if you want it compact, but on larger resolutions such an horizontally small layout will look quite weird.

Yeah I tend to completely skip over anything you post and that is bad.

Your first few posts, I didn't even realize you had posted anything and just thought you were responding with an image. Right now, the picture hogs all of the attention, and everyone's eyes can't help but notice it first instead of your actual post, and annoyingly so. You have to think and strain to read the actual post which most people aren't going to bother to do. You can keep the text to the right of the image if you want, but at least flip the image, crop it, or overlap the text over the huge amount of white space in the image or SOMETHING to correct the extreme misballance and lack of proper design hierarchy.

The color scheme, theme, font and everything I think are fine though. I applaud you for being different, but please place FUNCTIONALITY before all else in your layout design, or you'll just defeat the entire purpose of your layout.

I still have the major problem of not knowing how to do any of the many great and helpful tips you all have given me. The layout I'm using is one i have on a different from sight. I just went and coped it from there. So until I get pointed to a site that will help me learn to fix it(witch is what I would love to do) or someone helps me out by tellin me how to fix it(as in what I need to chance in the html) there is not much I can do.

So I did some searching and found out how to change it around a little bit and also update a few things like the picture, color, and a few other fun things. Hope the new layout works better then the last one for everyone. Now I just have to find a something better for my signature.

Probably only Windows users will see the font as you intended anyway. I know Monotype Corsiva doesn't come with most (if any) Linux distros, and I don't think it comes with OS X either.

	1) Your layout uses scrollbars. Don't do that. Nobody likes it. 2) Don't try using CSS opacity, the board filters it out anyway. 3) Your code is hideously broken. I doubt anyone's going to walk you step-by-step through the rules of HTML and CSS, so your best bet is to head to Google and try searching for some tutorials. You might also try viewing the source of some other people's layouts here. ____________________
