I seem to be having some difficulty with a layout that I cut and pasted from a certain website. Ever since I used it, I am unable to get rid of it, and I am no longer able to edit my profile. I probably just did something stupid, but I can't find any help on Google, and it is extremely annoying to me and everyone else.
Don't scold me too badly.

I think you misstook the "header" and "signature" fields for "bio" try to go to edit profile and clean those fields or something.

Uhh, wow. I'm glad I disabled layouts.

Delete EVERYTHING in the header and signature boxes. Try on a different computer, since yours is having problems with it. If that doesn't work, PM an admin and kindly ask for your layout to be nuked.

Speaking of layouts, I should see about getting a better one. This one is pretty dull.

Oh believe me, that didn't work

That crap he pasted used a bunch of <textarea> bullshit (probably for a lame comment field for a myspace page), which ended up breaking the forms.

I had to use Opera's built-in real-time source editor to fix it... not fun.

Honestly, the board just needs to use htmlspecialchars() instead of whatever that "squot()" crap Acmlm made... sure, it fixes "s in text fields, but anything else breaks.

There's just a lot of bugs ... a lot of things need filtering out, too.

I've always wondered why he used squot() ... He used htmlspecialchars() in a few places though. I guess it's still not enough.

On-topic: I had to nuke Ebeb's layout. Again. I'm almost seriously tempted to ask you to implement disabling/enabling HTML on a per-user basis, Xk.
