I was a member of Acmlm's Board back in the day, so after a long time away from the community I decided to join Jul

As for what brought me to Acmlm's Board, I found Acmlm's old Web site and the hack Strange Mario Bros. and started getting into ROM hacking way back in summer of 2001. Then in early 2002 I checked out his board, lurked for a while and looked up ROM hacking information, and joined so that I could ask questions.

I would have to say it was Supakitsune and cpubasic13. Mostly Supa though (from what I can remember. ) Never really heard of any of the Acmlmboards until I pretty much joined #shakesoda on freenode in mid-2007.

Lurked a while on I3, mostly watching VL-Tone (et al) decode SM64.

I've stayed around off and on, through board2 and now Justus League 2 Jul, posting when the mood takes me (which isn't often).

ACMLMer since 04. I joined a community back then, made one in 06, and joined Jul to get back to my posting roots.

Now what brought me to Jul were these videos:

Bumped into Acmlm's and the forums while searching very often. Some time later bookmarked the page and actually bothered to check it and lurked as a guest for more than you'd think, and much later realizing that I should say at least hello.

Later at board 2 I don't remember what brought me here, probably Xkeeper's profile too. I waited a little to join though but the place instantly became home.

I had actually registered many years back in 2002 on the 11th of March, right around after 'Proto K' registered some time earlier than me. I was too lurking around and looking for answers to some questions related to rom hacking that I had before I registered to ask a question about how to hack the SMB2 title card screen and both BMF54123 and Acmlm were most helpful when I needed to change a value at 1DE8A. Yes, I'm that very same guy from many years ago and I can still remember very well those days and I did act very stupid and childish so long ago but now I have grown past that stage and the past is to stay behind me as I continue looking forward to a good future. Some people may actually remember me and most won't since because this username I registered is beyond recognisable and I didn't use this current name back then, I had a different name. But yes, I'm sure some mentioning of my past actions will reveal who I really am to the people that known me before when I was on the original Acmlm's Board.

Now someone from 2002 or older should be able to pick up on who I really am. If anyone has any questions for me, I'll be willing to answer them.

That is basically pretty much my past and now I have revealed my past to the whole Jul board.

I originally joined Incarnation 2 eons ago, trying to find an old friend--Wolfman2000. He had joined the forum and through it I eventually found Wolfman. However I chose to stay after seeing the community around there at the time.

I then steadily gained status over time, becoming a normal member on Incarnation 3. I began to stand out after I started actively attacking drama-mongers for existing, despite not being staff.

I then joined Justus League 1, which was secret for its entire existence and then all traces of it destroyed, so there's not much to say about it.

I joined what is now Board 2 when it was Acmlm's Board 2. I also joined the prototype forum used before it, which still stands (Although that forum is now a spam bucket.)

Board 2 then had yet more drama and more stuff I disliked. Since it became against the rules for me to attack drama people for existing, I left with the split yet again.

I had been invited to Justus League 2 before the split and was here before it became Jul. My low user number and posts originate all the way back when the place was just 'Awesome' and 'Normal' level forums. I made one of the first if not THE first topics in the 'Normal' level topic here. (Now General, of course.)

The place then became Jul as time went on, although I wish to consider it JustUs League 2 still, even though nobody but the old people will get what I mean.

Like I do in many places, I have then just gradually gained posts and status through bashing drama-mongers and helping keep the place running, in this case, by fighting endless demonic hordes of SM64 hackers with a disinterested, logical approach so as to avoid being worn down or bothered by their relentless attacks.

It's not too bad, really, as seeing trolls fall on their own swords helps take the edge off of bad days.

I was a friend to two chucklefucks who posted on Xeogaming (or Masters of Darkness or whatever the hell it was called) and I started there in '04, I thought Simbattling would be fun (I later learned that no, it really isn't). I basically lurked there the entire time, though I knew just about everybody and I'm now a mod. I happened upon Jul by sheer circumstance, looking up some phrase and it linked here and I thought to myself, "Hey! An acmlm board that I've never seen yet!"

...and here I am.
