"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

Why would you run an N64 for days?

If you had no data pak, you'd have to leave it on in order to retain your spot in some old games.

Alternatively, forgetfulness.

Unless you purposefully cover the openings for the cooling, that shouldn't be possible.

Layers of dust do it. The heatsink inside is probably covered in dust, impairing its ability to cool my N64 off, so after long sessions of Perfect Dark (which stress the hardware to its limits) it freezes.

Data Pak. Now that's something I didn't think of.

Probably because I don't have any games that need the Data Pak.

Mine's an original Star Wars Episode 1 Racer pack one.

I sold that game though, it kinda sucked.

Yeah, it probably didn't have terribly stretched and smeared textures like the N64 one did.

I played it with a friend, and sorta liked it.

However I don't own the game, and it's not emulatable as of yet. However I heard it has a native PC version, I might look into it.

The PC version is probably better. If it has decent settings, you can probably get a better setup than 'dirt texture stretched x1000.'

Usually, PC games are better than the console ports.

I have Worms Armageddon for PC and PS1. The PS1 version has absolutely horrible graphics. Because of that, they decided that the crosshair should only move 10 pixels a time, increasing the difficulty to infinity.

The only good thing about the PS1 port is the rumble.

Yeah, only in a few cases are they worse, usually when the port is poorly done.

Or is of a classic 2D game, where the PC's power does nothing but spin its wheels.

Well, those were sorta decent... kind of...

I remember the parts system being rather shallow, too.

The issue was that once you got a certain combination, you'd go too fast for most of them to catch up to, except for in the races where the enemy AI was evil and cheated terribly.

Actually, there are games where the AI does not cheat.

They're increasingly rare, however.

Well, they cheat, but in the Star Wars game on the high levels, they would cheat to levels where only using what's his face's flamethrower could get them to stay away.
