I tried FF9 but I didn't like it very much. I didn't find most of the characters interesting and I found it rather difficult and confusing.

I liked all those moogles though

I'm still out to lunch on this one. I haven't played an FF game in a while (read: my discs and carts and even my ROMS are collecting dust) but I dunno if I'll enjoy this one so I'm waiting on some more second opinions. At this stage though, I haven't purchased and finished Tales of Vesperia yet, and that's higher on my list at the moment.

I just dislike spending $50 on something which is a risk. FF games seem to be hit-or-miss with me; although I haven't played many, some of them really interest me, while others seem overly pretentious and annoying.

Yeah. If there would eventually be a Wii version or PC version. Which I doubt.

Or I happen to get either a 360 or PS3 for $20, then there would also be a chance.
