The -webkit-box-reflection property is neat. So ... Safari and Chrome only. I used it on my layout so that it has a reflection underneath. A dynamic reflection. If I embedded a video with the reflection style applied it would play back in the reflection too! The problem is that the mask for the reflection is a gradient and can only be specified in a percentage, so sometimes the reflection is way too long.

But if you're using Firefox, there's just a light blue glow around the post. And if you're using anything else, who knows what you're going to get. Opera doesn't seem to support border-radius yet.

Don't visit jul if you've been changing your browser's user agent to IE6 because you'll get banned. Learned this the hard way by forgetting to change my agent back to Safari after setting up and testing a particularly annoying script on my own site. Stupid move on my part, really. A lot of spambots are caught this way.

Also, I was browsing this other neat site today and you'll never guess wh

All the special effects in your layout are starting to lag my computer, except when using browsers that don't handle it.

I don't have a napkin, I have a hand towel.
Oh wait, that's just a hand.

And your theme looks all fine in Prism/Firefox. At least I think it does.

Opera 10.10 just shows a bevelled blue border around it...

Haven't tried it in 10.50 yet though >.>

Bagel's layout hardly lags my computer at all and I don't particularly have a good one

Also, 10.50 does support border radiuses IIRC, it just uses a different style property than Firefox/Chrome. I think it's just plain border-radius. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Grrr. Oh well. Removed the reflection from all my future posts, but I left it on the signature button and re-added the simple glow. It'd be cool if there was a way to specify the reflection mask more precisely.

I'm able to see the reflection and everything just fine, my machine isn't struggling with it in Safari. I did notice the glow missing, but only really after you pointed it out.

It works fine and not-terribly laggy on my 3.6 Firefox x64, but with all the speedups, only that old complex Windows 7 layout Supa had really lagged it.

I have 3.6 as well and I don't see it. Did you remove it from that post manually?

The reflection will only show up in a webkit-based browser, but I think I removed it from the first post anyway. I replaced it with a thin blue box-shadow.
