Finally sat down to watch this.

So far I really like this series.

Reminds me a bit of Cowboy Bebop.

Mm. It's got a great feel to it, and the characters really are a part of the world they live in rather than a bunch of desperados slapped onto the face of any old background.

I've only watched the pilot and a bit of the second episode, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Fun seeing all these familiar faces from different TV shows.

I like how the characters act well together. It feels like they're not acting, but are more candid and real.

I saw (and loved) the movie a few years ago, but it wasn't until recently that I got to see the first few episodes of the show. Watching the rest is going to be hard, knowing that there won't be any more of them.

Bless your wonderful nerd heart, Joss Whedon, and to hell with the bastards that got this series cancelled. YOU ARE THE REASON TELEVISION IS DYING.

I watched Serenity last night.

Wow.

Now I'm really missing Firefly.

It's a damn shame that they killed off the series so early on.

Someone in #sr388 recommended this to me today. It should be done downloading in a few hours. I've already seen Serenity, but it's been ages, and I had no idea it was the sequel to a series. Hopefully it'll be good.

I heart Firefly. Serenity not as much, due to its darker tone and well, the fact that

Holy cow. Finished Firefly the other night and I absolutely loved it. The characters were all lovable, especially Kaylee. It's really a shame the series was scrapped. I'd to have loved to have seen more. Hope the movie explains some things. I seen it once a long time ago, back before I knew there was a series it was even based on, but I don't remember it. Hopefully Kaylee and Simon get together, and Book is revealed a bit more.

I never watched it while it was on TV, but after seeing Serenity in theaters I always wanted to get the DVDs. I think it was over a year ago now that I finally got them. The series was on sale for $25 and I couldn't pass it up. So I put them all on my iPod touch and watched them start to finish within a week. I loved it. After watching them all, I put Serenity on my iPod and watched it a few times again. After that, I watched the whole series again 2-3 more times.

Having seen the whole series, it made watching Serenity that much better. It really does suck that they canned the show and how some of todays shows are still running boggles my mind. At least we have ABC's Castle to watch Captain Reynolds still. He was my favorite part of Firefly, his attitude, hilarious 1-liners, and still maintaining a strong sense of loyalty from his crew. In the Halloween episode of Castle, it started off with him in his Captain Reynolds outfit (brown coat and all) and playing around with his guns. His costume was "Space Cowboy" but his daughter made fun of him for it. It was great seeing him decked out again as the captain.

Now I have to go and put Firefly back on my iPod. I've watched Transformers 1 and 2 enough.

I had never heard of it until a couple years ago when a guy on my floor got the series on DVD and we watched it through over the course of a few weeks. It's definitely one of my favorite shows I've seen; a pity it ran for such a short time.

I was underwhelmed by Serenity, though. My expectations were probably too high - I was expecting the same feel as the show, which it wasn't. Still not a bad movie, though.

Also. I can kill you with my brain.
