Why does my school consider it high comedy to draw penises on things? It's annoying, and I don't need to see it.
Also, swastikas. I doubt there are neo-Nazis in this tiny town, so I'm assuming it's to be funny or shocking (yeah right ).
People are so fucking immature.

I think this is the same for all middle/high school. Peer pressure, bad upbringing, no respect, are some of my thoughts as to why they do it.

When I was in Germany, some people would write/draw/etch swastikas in things, and then other people would cross them out. What was funny though was the Phantom Umlaut Graffiti Artist who would put the Umlaute (double dots) on some vowels, like "neu" -> "neü". (The former is a word meaning new; the latter isn't a word in German at all, AFAIK.)

In high school (USA), they'd draw penises on the bus windows. I never got the humour value of penises, really. Never thought they were funny.

Our school didn't really have an issue with graffiti.

By which I mean, they would tear out your balls or nipples if they even caught you doodling on a piece of paper in class, so imagine what they might do if they see you "defacing school property".

One of my classes had a bunch on the wall near my desk. There was "I hate 4th hour" and since that class was my 5th hour and I hated it, I crossed out the 4 and put in a 5. Then, I got in trouble for it something like 7 months later when the seating was changed and 1 of that seat's new occupants reported it.

One of the numbnuts at my college drew on some Buddha posters one professor had--I can only guess how much bad karma that got him.

There isn't really a graffiti problem here as well, but we do have a few things that are from the Dark Ages of Education which are riddled with the inscriptions of dissatisfied delinquents.
I'll always remember my table in chemistry class with its deeply engraved "YOU SUCK!" etched upon its surface along with a somewhat faded "NO YOU DO!" scratched in just below it.

Anyway, I haven't encountered too many suggestive images, but I suspect that since most high school students lack any kind of maturity, those who also have no qualms about drawing on other people's property probably find it amusing to draw such things because it's the most inappropriate thing they can easily draw and still likely get away with it.
Now, that doesn't cover every case of this, but I'm guessing this is a fairly common cause when it comes to individual decisions.

Yeah we don't have much of a problem with it here. That and I've never been to the public high school.

I remember one day I was in the men's bathroom finding "Suck my pussy" written in a permanent marker.

I either take it this guy was not bright or he was not bright. Got a chuckle out of me though.

There was a shed-type thing near my high school (or middle school?) that had "PENIS" spraypainted on the inside walls in huge white (IIRC) letters. Once when we were out there for PE, someone was like "Do you know what that word means?" to me.

Even my classmates used to draw little penises everywhere. I didn't found it too funny - just sometimes, when they draw them on a girl's exercise book, for example.
Don't worry, there are so many immature people.

Yeah, they're drawn everywhere people of that age can be found.

It's ridiculous, because only really uptight people are gonna freak about it. It just looks dumb.

Don't bother, if i were in the Harry Potter Land, i even would not want to read their minds, it would shock me like a screamer would do.
This means ignorance, immaturity and idiocy. In my town there are a lot of people like this, so i acutally afraid to walk around here.
Grisbaman is one of them

Paulguy's Post configuration
My old elementary school had a lot of that kind of stuff. It was a very bad school overall... The most interesting was this piano in one of the music rooms that doubled as a study hall was absolutely covered in graffiti. Some of it would have dates and stuff from the 50s. Pretty much ANY text book you'd come across had something written in it. High school wasn't quite that bad. Only the really old books from the 80s would accumulate a considerable amount of stuff.

Lain's post №743

This kind of stuff happened in elementary, junior high, and high school.

One of the stalls in my old elementary school had "FUCK" scratched into it.

A stall in junior high (I think) had something like "cheeko du madre" (or something like that.)

I can't really think of anything in high school, other than a few times some guy punching in a wall out of anger or whatever.

There was some (simple) graffiti on the (brick) side of the college's building, but they got most of it off.

Oh, and text books:
In a lot of the books that had "Kon Tiki and Me" in it by GAGE publishing, things like drawing penises and defecation... tbh when we had "reading time" in seventh grade, I would get a particular numbered book just so then I could see the stuff, because at the time I thought it was pretty funny, even though I didn't write or draw the things that were present in the book.

I would admit that I used to obsess over the hammer and sickle and Cyrillic alphabet back when I was still in middle and high school, but I didn't really write/paint it anywhere, except (maybe) on blackboards and my folders... =P
