I played DDR/ITG for maybe a year now... But i haven't played that much recently.

Its actually both.

Light standard and heavy are for pad, and Oni is for KB. Chances are it "can" be done on pad but wouldnt be any fun cause no one like jumpstreams on pad.

after seeing the videos on youtube i am very dissapointed in SN2..so far the charts are absolute garbage and good songs like bloody tears and raspberry heart have horrible charts...i guess the vic viper and spec arrows are cool but they need to start making better charts or fixing the terrible ones before it's to late

They hired a friend of mine who is INCREDIBLY good at chart making. Hopefully we'll see some more good stuff for the next DDR.

I never went through and posted my resume/cover letter over with KONAMI for a few reasons and I would've been more than up to the task but I have no clue what they pay. If I knew and/or had the funds to even MOVE to California I would probably consider it...especially if pays more than my current job.

If he is good, we've probably heard of him. Any handles he goes by for simming?

I really hope so they need make SN2 better than SN..i know it's a beta but still i haven't seen a good chart yet

also i never played Beatmania or Pop'n Music

Yea I know Duk, not personally, but I know what he does and if he's with KONAMI then there's a good chance that there's going to be some tough songs coming from him. He was more specialized in keyboard files than pad files and pushed more towards ITG than anything else.

Heck, you can see him on YouTube doing shit on an ITG cab in Cali...not surprised he's working for them.

EDIT: Pulled a 97.38% out of my ass (18 ex, 1 gr). Unfortunately it was a 4. Cryosleep Easy.

On that machine, though, that's a freaking miracle I did that well. I about died on the fact I missed a AAA-like rank by 1.

I wanted to pull out Vim and Vigor just to blow the keys off my keyboard on Stepmania from KHII. It'd be a nice short, at least.

I'll have to get that later tonight.

By the by, my Decisive Battle from FFX sim has topped 1000 DLs. Unsurprising, really.

Sh*t!

Looked at 300's Heavy chart several times over and I've got -1- step in a stream of offbeat freeze formations that isn't exactly what I'm wanting. The steps are supposed to follow a triple blue-red-blue, then yellow, red, yellow, blue (off the top of my head) and there's one measure that doesn't do this and it throws people offbeat.

I'm not sure whether to keep it for variety's sake or fix the glaring error (to me) and re-upload it.

Grabbed up Guitar Hero 2 tonight...got done playing a good dozen easy songs and then worked into Medium where I'm 3 or 4 starring things now.

I have a feeling certain songs would end me, though...but I don't think that can be too horrible on my first night ever playing it.

I remember the first time I played. It was pretty awful (I failed Shout at the Devil on medium). Now I can pass pretty much everything (except Jordan) on expert, some better than others.

Yea, funny you should mention Jordan...just five-starred it on Medium with 95% on my first try. Actually, I'm surprised I did that well. It's getting pretty sadistic pretty quick though, I'll say that much. I'm already making numerous errors when I get to a hard run of notes. I hit a 5th note (in hard, likely) I'll likely be hitting the pavement.

EDIT: Just on a whim...tried Jordan Hard. 53%.

EDIT: And on another whim...beat Surrender on Hard. 3-star 79%. It was gruesome.
