This is probably the most interested that I've been in hockey in a long time. The first period is almost over and there's still no score, there have been a few crazy moments though where it looked like one of the teams was going to get a goal

I just had a similar experience where I could hear my dad screaming from the basement (and I'm all of the way up on the top floor). I'm also happy that Canada scored (which brings the score to 1-0) although I'm not that enthusiastic about it...

That game was amazing, even if we lost. That last goal in the 3rd period was phenomenal, and overtime was crazy. Props to Canada for a greatly needed gold and props to to the American team for a fierce game.

[edit] It's been an incredible 17(?) days. I'm glad I spent the time watching the games... it was actually my first time, too.
