Like the original NES Final Fantasy. Google hasn't helped, GameFAQs has some information but it's too full of spoilers, and the game's difficult to play without it (no way to tell what magic does without buying it, etc). It's usually not difficult to find scans or a transcript of a game manual to download but for some reason I can't find this one.

This leads me to a page that says "your download will begin shortly", and then redirects me to a 404. There's a link that says I can also right-click on it and hit Save As; this gets me a corrupted PDF. Now that I think about it, I had these same problems with this site a while ago too with some other file.

No, the site's download links don't work in the first place. Even if you do go to the main page and navigate to the manual, all you can do is view the version they have up on the site, not download it.

It's not a PDF, it's various pictures of the manual assembled into some sort of javascript... thing. Just click "view manual" on the page. You could right-click and 'save image as' for every page, but that'd sure be tedious.
