Next time I make a video with music, I intend to spend a few seconds at the beginning thanking the artists for generously allowing the use of this song in exchange for this free advertising, hint hint. And then a few seconds at the end pointing out how retarded it would be to remove a video with half a song, encoded at a low bitrate, in the background of a streaming video with other sound effects, instead of spending that effort going after actual pirates. I know it still won't stop them, but at least I'll be satisfied in knowing that they truly are retards, and they know it. ____________________  why not? |

03-03-10 10:51:45 PM Post #2865 In any sane system, being flagged would mean "check this video for obscene/illegal content", not "we heard it on the Internet so it must be true, delete forever, strike on your account, have a nice day". One thing I'd like to measure sometime, on a forum or blag or whatever, is how many flags appear to be idiots flagging randomly, idiots flagging because they personally dislike something that's not actually against the rules, and accidental clicks, versus real valid complaints. ____________________ why not? |
