It's the Super Mario dragon. All of them look similar, at least as far as heads go.

I like how his face jiggles a bit as he chomps around. It's subtle, but makes him feel more alive.

I don't want a story the one in Super Mario Galaxy was getting too serious, Mario is supposed to be happy-go-lucky dammit! But I enjoyed the gameplay and I will definetly get this.

Wait, now that Mario has explored so much in his 3D games what can we expect for the next Nintendo console? Super Mario Galaxy 3? And imagine what it would be like to edit this game (even though we can't even emulate it, but it would be fun).

we can emulate it (or at least in the near future, if it's got AntiPiracy, or if the game doesn't fully emulate) . The Wii emulator is called Dolphin.

You're not alone, I bought it on release day and still haven't played it. I know I REALLY need to, and this stuff for the sequel makes me want to play it more. I guess part of me wants to wait until we get an HDTV so I can enjoy it in all of it's splendor.

It does, you just need to get component cables for it.

My grandma has an HDTV, and I did play a little bit of Galaxy over there so it definitely does work. It's just that for that game at least, I got spoiled and now playing it on my crappy TV seems so inferior to that. Of course, that was probably because her TV is HUGE compared to mine, and not because its HD.

Widescreen 480p is the maximum resolution of the Wii, although I think the Dolphin emulator can go up to 720p, IIRC. =P

It goes up to 480p widescreen.

Gamecube went up to 480p normal screen, though only with early gen Gamecubes, like mine.

The Wii supports 'EDTV', which is a step below 'HDTV.'

Rendering the game at a much higher resolution, and adding stuff like (I believe) anti-aliasing isn't?
