Robot virus hmm? Anyone think they are trying to connect Megaman to Megaman X

Well, the bosses in the original series were never too complex. Heard FakeMan in 9's special stage was quite a pain to beat, though. And I personally thought 9's Wily put up one heck of a fight.

As for establishing a full connection between the original series and X, no, I don't believe they would ever do such a thing; If Capcom did this, it'd essentially disallow them from making further sequels. What happens between the two series is already implied through various games, anyway.

Ur right thought it was just a thought.
I know that Dr cain was the reason for the virus.

Megaman 9 isnt that hard. All you have to do is play it untill you master each lv like me. I got invincible achievement.
Same goes for fake man although his is annoying to figure out

Challenges is even better, because it gives you 88 specially-designed challenges to get through, each with specific times, weapons, skills, and more. This will no doubt give an already extensive game plenty of replay value, although with many challenges still locked, it remains to be seen how much variety is there. Interested parties will definitely want to know that Time Attack gives away the fact that there are eight stages apart from the Robot Master levels. Is this indicative of there being two end castles (ala Mega Man 4, 5 and 6) instead of just one? Only time will tell.

From the IGN preview. Challenges... *drool*

Game's out next Monday on WiiWare, by the way.

Capcom have the original team though, from what I have heard, that's not the case for sega.

I'm looking forward to this thing though, nine was great! ^^

SEGA has in fact, one or two fragments from the old Sonic Team.

Not that those people are really any good. Many of the bad Sonic games were... made by Sonic Team.

The issue in their case is amnesia; they just forgot what made a good Sonic game entirely.

True, but, the main thing is a physics wonk at the end, which will have most likely been fixed somewhere.

The game isn't finished yet. Endri has said a lot of stuff about it, but ultimately appears to loathe classic Sonic games moreso than saying this game is bad.

Many of his negative comments can be said of the other classic Sonic games, for example; there will always be some fast spots, and in older games, the vertical stuff did pop up.

The spindash was also slower in Sonic CD, and yet that is considered a good game, thus the complaint about the spindash is nullified.

Finally, the belief that the ESRB thing means they cannot fix the physics is illogical in the extreme. Unless the physics tie into the rating for some bizarre reason (jiggle physics? I really doubt it) the ESRB isn't going to care if they make Sonic NOT stick on the side of hills in an idiotic fashion...

...Back to Mega Man 10, anyway.

I'm wondering if they'll tie it in more with MMX; while they can't probably make a direct link, I bet dollars to donuts we start to see references to the beginnings of the work on Mega Man X and maybe Zero somewhere.

Zero was mentioned in Bass' ending in one of the fighting games (Power Fighters, I think?). X himself hasn't been mentioned in any classic game, although I suppose they could always throw in one or two cameos (like plans in the background in Light's lab or something).

Hey, look at this little tidbit in Nintendo's press release today that I never noticed.

"Also, you can now play as Proto Man and try Time Attack Mode from the beginning, or watch play-through videos from players all over the world."

You get to upload your best times and let people download the replay files? Sweet!

It should. All three versions of MM9 were identical. To the teeth. (Except as far as I know having premium themes for the PS3 version. Dunno about Wii and Xbox360)

So no worries there. It should match up.

I also heard endless mode will come out much later. Which is kinda ok, but I loved endless mode, and I feel if I should wait another month for the real game to come out, I would buy endless mode in a heartbeat. But alas; it looks like I have to wait.

Beat. For you speed runners, charge the cutter weapon and run in to a wall and you'll fly up the wall. May help you figure out some shortcuts.

Game was good. Fixed MM9s problems, but also became too easy. Ripped through it in one sitting (5 hours). Only a few unfair parts, and they were only a few bosses. Time to speed run and do challenges.

Currently holding some pretty spiffy record times for Solar Man and Strike Man.
